so it's lensbaby month and i think i'm already doomed... no clue how to get anything in focus with the sweet 35, and can't figure out how to switch the optic back to the edge 80... it's a-gonna be a looooooong month!!!
Just tried it on mine. Twist the optic so it's as far out as it goes. Twist around the aperture ring anti-clockwise as far as it goes, push down and keep turning anti-clockwise. It should click and you can pull it out. Or mine did anyway! ;)
I like the dreamy effect btw.
Hi there Thank you for my push this week - I will have a go. Having looked (again) through your awesome images it was hard to find something you haven't done already however I do have 2 suggestions for you. Either a conceptual self portrait or some mirror photography. Have fun.
Yes what @humphreyhippo said.
Start with you composer straight, at f/4 or 5.6, shutter speed 1/160 or faster. Once this fells good we can move on. Make sure you calibrate your diopter.
coolio! does this mean the next time we go around camera-ing we can bring our clocks? :-D we'll make a pair of odd ducks - cameras in one hand and clocks in the other! but who cares? aces, kiddo!
Oh darn...I'd managed to be in denial so didn't even get it out today. Oh well! I suspect you'll end up with a great month of images! I like the message in this one.
To play is to learn, so just play and have fun this month. I don't like the changing of elements so I use a set of extension tubes with my sweet 35. I also have a pair of cheaters in my kit.
@northy it absoutly does tick by so fast. So fast we missed watching the NY time square ball drop on T.V cause we werent paying attention to the tame last night⏳
