babirusa (NOT a baby rhino)

update - i wrote the zoo yesterday to ask and they have informed me that this is, in fact a babirusa... not sure why it's living in the rhino house without any info attached to it, but there you have it...

went to the zoo today... big mistake... everyone else was there as well... miserably crowded... next time i'll wait for a rainy day 🥴

@tunia @kali66 ok - so I will confess that I am a bit baffled as well…. However…. He (she?) was in the rhino house and no other animals are kept there…. So I have to assume it’s a baby rhino…. But - I couldn’t find any info about a new baby rhino at the zoo…. (And usually there is info)…. Still…. If it’s not a rhino, what is it doing in the rhino house?

A very good capture, but not a rhino calf. Kali (above) has identified it as a Buru babirusa.

thanks all... Kali was right... a babirusa... never heard of them before and never seen them before at the zoo... such interesting animals 😊
