in my head this was sort of a joyous, rebellious, flapper song... (not sure why flapper era - i think this is a show from the '60s - but whatevs)... anyhoo somewhere along the way it took a rather noir turn and i have no explanation for that... maybe a function of the fact that it was sticky hot and the gloves and feather boa were annoying the heck outa me...
(note - that's a cherry tomato in the martini glass - not an olive🙃)
@mcsiegle - i tried... i really did!!!!! i wish i had more opportunity for street photography because i had some ideas of what could work for this... but really haven't had the time of late... it's a fun song!
Who has had gobs of time of late? Not me either. Thanks for going the distance with the gloves and the feather boa. They provide a nice touch here. No surprise the image has that noir element. You do noir so well. Nice interpretation of the spirit of the song! Isn't it wonderful how convincing a cherry tomato can look masquerading as an olive in Black and White?
