This is a shot of the pier again but with a longer shutter speed! Its amazing, there were about 10 surfers in the water but with the long shutter speed you can't even see them! One actually walked past the camera when I was shooting this!
Thank you again for all of your great comments and taking the time to stop by! Now, off to commenting! :)
That is awesome Jerry. I always think that is bizarre that someone can walk through the shot with a slow shutter speed and not really be seen. Kind of boggles my mind when I think about the technacalities of it. Did you use an ND filter for this shot?
Jerry, you did it again! Another remarkable capture! Funny, I almost shot the pier this weekend, although highly doubt it would have been this spectacular. Fav'd!
Okay, I have to try something like this, branch out...now to find the time. This is very beautifully done. The composition really draws the eye down to the end of the pier. Loving the soft water effect.
this is breathtaking! in fact all of your shots are! the surface of the water looks amazing, the pov and composition are also stunning! thanks for inspiring me everyday Jerry!
jerry this is amazing!! Oh to be able to catch the water so silky and smooth like you have!! FAV!!! Also if you look off into the clouds on the left side of the photo i swear i can see an eye looking back at me!! :) tell me im not hallucinating!!! lol!!
This is absurdly good, Jerry. It makes me want to hop a plane right now, and I hate flying more than almost anything else. Before I leave this project, one of my goals is to get a stellar pier shot. It won't be this good, but still, it's on the bucket list. Thanks for inspiring me, always...obviously a fave.
This looks awesome. Funny you mention the surfers as I was out last night taking some long shutter speed photos of a little creek and a raccoon walked straight through my photo... but of course it wasn't there either!
Stunning pic! And of course a big Fav! I got to get out to the west coast some time and soak it in. Firm has offices in SF and Silicon Valley but down by you is magnificent.
what lens do you like shooting with most often jerry?
this is wonderful
