On our first day we spent the day at the pool of at our hotel. What a pool! There was a DJ pumpin' tunes the whole day and a lazy river that sorounds the pool area! Just you your drink and a raft floating in heavenly circles! :) The drinks, by the way, were the craziest things! 65oz of frozen goodness served in these glasses that stood from the ground up to your elbows! They even had shoulder straps to help you carry them! Mmmmmm!
After the pool I made my way to the Paris Hotel. They have an Eiffel Tower replica that stands half the size of the original! What a view! This is a shot looking south on the Strip! You can see the MGM, Planet Hollywood, Mirage, Mandalay Bay And the Cosmopolitan. That light beam in the back is from the Luxor Hotel. It shoots a light beam straight up that is so bright it can be seen from outer space! Cool!
*love it! FAV (btw... there's a buffet type place inside Paris, and there's a little kiosk type thing adjacent to it where you can get drinks without going into the buffet.... they are very generous with the alcohol there.

@maggotx Lol! We are in the Monte Carlo! But there are places all up and down the strip! You can get one, walk the streets, get in a cab, and enter a new casino all while having the same drink...thats cool!

Very cool. Everything is bigger and better in Vegas huh... well except the Eiffle tower. Vegas always reminds me of the movie Fear and Loathing with Johnny Depp.
gorgeous! when i was there i didnt get to go up and see this view, so your lucky :) Amazing lights and amazing shot. I stayed at the Excalibur on the strip when i was there....amazing!
Fav fav fav! So this is from the Paris' little Eiffel Tower? I wanted to get a night shot of the strip, but hubby was just working too many hours and by the time he got in, we'd eat dinner and crash. except the last night...we stayed up and gambled a bit in Mandalay Bay after dinner at Stripsteak. That place is good. This photo is magnificent! IT really does Vegas justice. I did not realize it, but the pics of the beaded chandelier I shot were in the Comso. I guess! I did not realize I "got herded into" there on my trek, but I guess so based on your photo here and then your chandelier photo. I thought the shoulder strap drinks were a riot. Didn't they get HOT and melt? Anyway...this shot is da' bomb! makes me want to go back to Vegas! I love how you'd be roasted in the hot, bright sun and then go in to the AC, shower, and just chill in the room, looking at the window at the folks still roasting. I loved looking at my photos once I got back in...out there, it was so bright, you could not tell what you were getting!
@espyetta I'm glad you had a chance to get out the last night! Funny you didn't remember taking pics at the Cosmo! I'm still not convinced that you didn't have a 4' drink while waiting for your husband! :o)
you work so much harder at your pics than I do. I really gotta step up my game; my pics are *always* better when I plan them, and execute the plan. this one's awesome, but all your shots are (I'm just a sucker for Vegas).
