Funny, before I started this project, I would have never thought about going under a dark, algae infested pier to take photos! Now its one of my favorite places to shoot! There was so much color and texture under this pier! I was beautiful! Like they say, " It's not what's on top that counts, ...

The pillars have some sort of bag attached to them? It must be waterproof and have some sort of use! I love the criss-crossy lines!

The pier at our local beach is one of my fave places to shoot as well. I love all the intersecting lines and the textures in this shot.

@orangecrush Sure, run into a gorgeous Thunderbird and the garbage notion is out the window! I saw a slideshow once (remember those) of photos an artist took on her trip to Japan. She showed Japanese garbage. They wrap everything up in gorgeous fabrics. The garbage is exquisite! If we only had such an aesthetic!
