After weeks of tussling around, Pie's leash broke, rather than run away she choose to hold on to the end hanging from the line. This is how I found her just sitting on the hill, waiting for me to come out and help her. I guess it's not polite for a Golden girl to run away!
That is just toooo cute. MY dog would have been looooooong gone! (and knocking at one of the doors at some point, if he didn't get injured on his "joy-run") and this is why I use the plastic metal coated leads. It's too scary to realize the dog is "gone" -- so sweet she was still just sitting there! (btw, my dog feels the need to take his lead into his mouth EVERY time he crosses the threshold to go outdoors. Does yours?)
