@timandelke Thank you, funny you said that, this is the first sunflower I’ve been able to grow in my yard and I’ve been trying for 12 years now. The chipmunks always eat all the seed, seedlings and small sunflower plants. Finally started a seed in a large deep black greenhouse pot, I only filled it half full with a mixture of soil and sand. I’m not sure if it was the depth in the dark pot or the texture but they kept out and that’s my sunflower! I’m pleased with it. :)
