Doll's-Eyes!

Actaea pachypoda (doll's-eyes, white baneberry)
The white berry, whose size, shape, and black center give the species it’s common name, "doll's eyes". Both the berries and the entire plant are considered poisonous to humans. Ingestion of the berries can lead to cardiac arrest and death. The berries are harmless to birds.
This is not in my garden it grows wild in the woods.
Great capture

Stunning berries, so sad it's poisonous. Would make an attractive salad or cake decoration.

Fun shot as they each look like little eyes.

What an interesting plant. Love the detail you captured, Junan. I have heard of poisonous berries but have not seen them that I know of. These are different than I have seen before. How odd that birds can eat them but humans cannot. FAV
