Watering Hole by pandorasecho

Watering Hole

I'm having way too much fun with this. Starting to feel like someone is going to catch me out playing in the mud puddles with my toys.

Return to old watering holes for more than water; friends and dreams are there to meet you.

Somebody call 911, she's lost her last marble! ;) Very cute, though!

That's cool! Not into mud wallowing myself (that mud gets everywhere). But I am cool with those that do. LOL>

Nice shot.

LOL @scrappy's response! I've taken some pictures where I know people are thinking "what the heck is she doing?!!?" It's all part of the fun. These are great pictures.

@hoosierhokie Somehow what cracks me up the most is @scrappy realizing that I only had one marble to lose in the first place.

I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and since I know you teach too, I know the marbles are scarce! ;)

Ha ha I love this! I feel I am following these guys on one hell of a journey!

This is really cool. I had to look twice to see that they're plastic toys. I've been behind on my viewing this week and busy with thoughts of moving this summer. Now I'll have to go back and see the other photos in this series. This one is great.

I am amazed at how real your photos are . . they have that feeling of aliveness. Love that proverb. Beautiful scene.

@christiehicks two are pottery from China and one is wood carved in Guatemala

I thought they were too pretty to be plastic. I could tell as I went through your series and look at them magnified that they were art and not toys.

BTW, I saw on your post on my sycamore seed pods that you were looking for more photos for your class. I don't know if you saw the link in with all the comments but there's lots more pictures and info at http://www.etsu.edu/arboretum/totw.html

@christiehicks No, I did see it, It is great, we have redwoods here, and Myrtle, but sycamores are a huge part of that novel, and they could not even imagine them.

super imagination!

haha! I love it! I did some playing with old toys too...and I was grateful that I had a fence around my back yard! Again, I like how you put them outside...as it looks so natural and real.

very nice! I like them in their "natural environment" (and I love it when I get the mostly amused/slightly concerned question about "What are you doing??")

That is fantastic! Nicely shot and terrific recreation of a scene from the wild.

It almost looks real! Every grown up should play with toys once in a while to keep their spirit fresh and to help their inner child!
