The ornaments on my tree were picked by a toddler this year and are a lot of variety. Doodles was my class mascot one year.

@cookie123 They were dolls that come with washable markers which were popular about five years ago. This was a keychain but the original was like a Teddy bear size that went home in a backpack with my students and a journal. They had to decorate him and journal about what he did at their house that weekend. Then after they shared, I'd wash off the marker and he'd be ready for the next weekend

I love trees that are decorated with "memories" of the past. Especially the handmade decorations. I gave my daughters the ones that they made over the years and now I miss them. And so my trees have gotten progressively smaller. My Grandmother's were thrown out and I never got a chance to save them. I can still remember how old and beautiful they were.

Well, it's so much fun to have a child help decorate the tree- rejuvinating (wrong spelling I know but too lazy to get up and get the dictionary!!) in a way. Cute mascot.
