Grandmas by pandorasecho

Grandmas

I had a maternal Grandma named Grace who had the praying hands plaque above her kitchen table. The boys never met her but they had a daycare grandma named Nadine, still have her, who gave them the giant teddy bears although the bears have shrunk over the years and only come to their knees now. The plate was to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Methodist church here in town. My husband and I are not Methodists but we loved the pastor and the choir so that is the church we raised the boys attending.

three good things
1. Family that can include more than just those born into it.
2. community
3. Grandparents
Lovely display of so many fond memories. How nice that Nadine is still here to be a part of your extended family. Love those bears!

Darn shrinking bears. My daughter's stuffed animals keep doing that too...I love your #1 "good thing" for today. This has proven to be so true in my life as well.

This is a nice collection with special sentiment. The boys and bears look so cute. Amazing how quickly the bears shrink and the boys grow.
