Congratulations, Dixie. Precious sweet shot of all 3. Glam-mom....that's funny. I'm known as MeeMaw to all my grandkids. The name just stuck after my oldest (Hannah, now 18) started it. BTW, I love the name -- Daisy!!!
Very sweet! At first I thought that I was too young to be a grandma when Leigh was born (7 yrs. ago now!), but then I did the math as to how old my grandmothers were when I was born. Surprise! I was just about the same age. And I totally grew into the title. There's no way I want to disguise it now. Plus the other good thing is that later when my grandchildren talk about me they'll always say, "My grandmother was so much fun!" not realizing how it completely wore me out!! Congratulations to the little family and may there be many blessings ahead!
congratulations to the new parents and grandparents. they're looking so good. she has a beautiful name which when you see those little white flowers with the yellow in the centre, you will be reminded of her. i don't mind being called grandma, but of course in our language, it's "lola" and when you're lola you're old. my friends aren't lola or grandma, they like to be called 'mama' or 'mommy' but there's nothing sweeter in the world than to be called grandma. plus of course you get the "oh, my, aren't you too young to be a grandma?" all the time! :-) congrats again!
