Today, for Teacher Appreciation Day, the school counselor brought a watermelon that she hand carver, as her contribution to the potluck

@maggiemae That was the problem, no-one actually cut into it the whole day, we ate the grapes and berries and honeydew instead.

Wonderful capture of this beautiful presentation! I thought it was a flower at first, too. I wish that I could develop the patience to be more artistic in my food presentation--and photography presentation, too, for that matter. I think it's half the fun! You'll have to show her the picture. I'll bet she'll love it !
