Sand dollars

The bounty of the sea gave me this small reward for turning my granddaughter into another sea worshipper.

Don't "needle" me about this not being the word, I just had to share how pretty they are.

I"ve heard about these but don't know what they are - ? A pretty design on the top of them!

@maggiemae they are very flat, burrowing sea urchins, and this white they are only the bleached skeletons.

gosh. reminds me of my thrill at finding sand dollars at my grandmother's place north of Boston.
