In a lot of ways, this was the easiest December I've ever experienced. Everyone seemed to be having a good time in a very relaxed, just happy to be together way. The following year was one of the loneliest, saddest my husband and I ever spent and now it has gotten better. Good to remember the high points return, when you are in one of the low times.
