Last Minute Glitz

The clock was ticking closer to midnite on Christmas night, my camera battery was breathing its last breath and although I had taken some shots earlier in the day, I knew they weren't very good and I needed to remedy that...and quickly.

I was downtown, so I sped off to the Music Center hoping for some shots of the HUGE Christmas tree on display out front.

I arrived shortly before midnite with a dead camera, so I had to resort to my phone. This glitzy shot isn't great, but it seemed to be the best of the bunch.

Sometimes the humble old phone camera saves the day surprisingly well! I have days where nothing seems to turn out well, and on resorting to my phone it produces the best one of the day too! This is nice and crisp and conveys the festive mood well......
