Today was Museums of the Arroyo Day. It's a yearly event where the public can visit 5 local museums for free. Only problem is, it's only 5 hours long. Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!!! A free shuttle bus moves you from place to place.
I visited 3, did a dash through on one and bypassed another. It really is a great way to introduce people to the interesting museums in our area that they may not have even known were there.
This is one of the Victorians at Heritage Square. All of the buildings at this site were moved from other locations, where they were destined for demolition. Other buildings include a small train station, and a church, in addition to a few other houses (one of them being an octagon house). They haven't all been renovated yet, but this beauty obviously has been restored to her former glory. I forget her official name, though.
SOOC except for a little fill light to brighten up the covered porch area (the very pale green is the ceiling of the porch).
I have several other shots from the day and I'll post them in my alternate album.
