@henrir Thank you Henri colours are reflected into the water by firing my off camera flash onto a colourful backboard and bouncing the light onto the surface:)
@onewing Thanks Babs just could not get the timing right to get the shot I was after this was the best of a poor show, had another try this afternoon for a camera club comp "water in all is form" much much better results:)
@emma78 Thank you Emma, mine is a very low key a small plastic bag with a pin hole filled with water, using an off camera flash, camera set manual focus , f8, 1/250 speed and iso 250 then watch the drop falling and press the remote shutter at just the right time, lots of out takes but great fun:)
@pcoulson I tried it a few weeks ago after watching a you tube video. I used different coloured chopping boards to make the water different colours ( the flash bounced off the colours). This was one of my photos but I made a few. Some were more in focus than others. https://365project.org/emma78/365/2018-07-23
@cocobella Thank you so much for your comment Corinne, I printed off a A4 sheet of abstract colours used it as a back cloth and bounce the flash off it to put the colours in the water:)
