Nice houses but I have to admit I thought the same as Diana @ludwigsdiana not so sure I would want to live so close to the river, at least not without my wellies and a boat handy
@ludwigsdiana Thank you for your comment Diana, its a valid point this part of the canal flooded in on 26th December 2015 the water was 3m above its normal level and a foot bridge 800m to the right was washed away:)
@onewing Thank you for your interesting comment Babs, what you can't see in this shot is a spur of water in front of them leading up to the completed building on the right with a boat moored up, possibly for a quick get away, lol:)
Are these permanent or holiday houses, I wonder. The comments about the water make me think of lovely new houses up the road from us - built on an old sandpit......
@quietpurplehaze Thank you for your comment Hazel I understand they are residential homes with all the living rooms above the ground floor, part of the planning permission, still a very risky purchase not for me:)
