The 33rd Regiment was unquestionably the best trained regiment in the British Army at the time of the 1775 – 1783 American War of Independence and were involve in the following battles,
1776 – Brooklyn Heights, White Plains, Fort Washington
1777 – Brandywine, Germantown
1778 – Freehold
1779 – Verplants
1780 – Charleston, Camden
1781 – Guilford Court House, Yorktown
Up the Yankees down the British:)
