Laburnum Bowl

I had this made by our local woodturner for my wifes birthday, it 10ins dia and 5ins high. I picked the lump of wood and also the shape, he made a beautiful job its exactly what I was after.

Such a fine piece of workmanship. It's hard for me to imagine how this started as a piece of wood. I love the warm tones, the swirls, the polish. I'm sure your wife was really happy with this :)
