I was in Leyland in Lancashire today, this is one of a series of “Welcome to Leyland” gateway monuments celebrating the town’s industrial heritage.Centurion Tanks were made at the Spurrier Works in Leyland known locally as “the tank factory”

@ludwigsdiana Thank you Diana for both your comment and Fav it’s appreciated, it sits on a grass mound at the side of a road into Leyland you can walk all around it, a sign asks you not to climb on it but you could:)
@quietpurplehaze Thank you Hazel for your comment, I had to avoid street furniture a housing estate and power lines so the perspective was really the only option:)
