My entry in this weeks Capture 52 challenge "Architecture"
Built in 1779 the Piece Hall replaced the original cloth hall of 1572. This was due to the growing demand for textiles in the local area.
Sorry for being missing the last few days only back home this morning from Hospital following another TIA, my Cardiologist has no explanation why I have had 3 in the past 5 months, more investigation required plus I can't drive again for 4 weeks.
A great perspective to capture this huge hall and the public square in the foreground! This is great with the steeple reaching into the clouds, too! (Wow, Peter! This is concerning! I'm glad you have recovered and are back home now. I hope your doctor can figure this out. Take good care!)
@365projectorgheatherb Thank you Heather for your well wishes and lovely comment its appreciated, I may not be able to drive but I can still walk, the tower is part of a chapel behind the Piece Hall:)
@corinnec Thank you for your comment Corinne, it’s a square building with a very large courtyard that was used for trading cloth now for concerts, shows and recreation:)
