This face known as "The Green Man" is 1m long was carved in a dead tree in 2000. I went back to see if it had changed, now has woodworm and his chin has rotted.
Such an interesting creation, sure would've been quite a task to carve it like that! Lovely photo and I agree with Tracey, love the framing of the leaves! :)
