@teiko Thanks Emilie for your comments, Parched peas are black peas soaked overnight then simmered in a pan this turns them into mushy peas, flavoured with mint in vinegar a traditional Lancashire snack, tastes better then it sounds. also the reference to Spuds commonly known as jack potatoes, these are large potatoes baked in an oven until skins are crisp, then filled with all sorts of different types of things, straight with butter or cheese or beans etc.
Great shot. Great tram conversion. We don't get mushy peas in fish and chip shops here, but there is a converted tram in Newcastle where you can get pie and mushy peas and they are brilliant.
