Not a noisy neighbour for miles, this little cottage is in the middle of Glencoe valley, were on the 16th February 1692 Robert Campbell's men on the instruction of the King of England massacred the Clan MacDonald and burned the homes to the ground.
Beautiful countryside. Is the house still occupied? You wouldn't want to run out of milk would you. Love how they have made a windbreak with trees. Must get a bit bleak in winter.
Oh Dear. Glencoe. One of my most favourite places. The history just screams at you from the valley and the surrounding hills. And what a great shot to convey the sinister and foreboding feeling of the glen. Is this from up the top of the Glen? FAV
@terryliv Thank you Terry for the wonderful comments and Fav, this place is full of history and beauty, shot taken travelling south about 4 miles south of Glencoe village;)
