How often do you here your wife say "honey come here quickly there's a foxy in the back yard". Well, I usually laugh and continue on what I'm doing since she likes to pull my leg a lot. So when she started taking pic on her phone I figured there was something in the backyard. So a short story made long, I did grab my camera and shot this thru the back sliding door, a fox in the backyard.
Fabulous, looks like a young one too.
I had to laugh. My mum once walked past my lounge door on her way out of the house and said "there's a squirrel on your hearth" and I ignored it as a crazy thing to say. Then I looked in and, blow me down, there was a squirrel jumping around in my front room wrecking the place!! Classic. Removed it with the aid of hubby's long cuffed leather motorbike gloves in the end as it was determined to bite anyone who went near it!
In our old house we occasionally had a pair of foxes sitting on our deck chairs, tails wagging like they were two house cats or something. We just observed them from above.
Great story- I've only seen one once in our woods- long before I started 365 so I just watched it and didn't even think about taking a picture. Great shot too- he does seem to sense someone is looking at him!
Oh my! Love it! On my bucket list to get a photo of a fox and an owl! I don't get out as much as I'd like so I doubt it will happen, but one coming in my backyard would be sweet :)
Did the fox ask: "why did you take such a long time?" Its a nice shot... I think you should send the fox a copy as an expression of thanks for its patience! :-)
