Tomorrow sees the launch of the 62 plate. Everyone at work has been so busy this week ensuring everthing is in place. These identical twins along with many other cars have had their PDI and valets today ready for their new owners tomorrrow.
@dalboy Thank you for your lovely commentS :-) hmm not sure how fat you think I am if you think I could slip one of these under my coat and sneak it our for you lol
@gnilrets Each car's registration plate has 2 digits which show its time of registration. These change in March and Septmeber they have just changed from 12 (for the 'first half' of 2012) to 62 ( the 6 coming from 5 for half a year added to the 1 from the 12) hope this makes sense and all the steering wheels are on the right side lol!
@shamrockinmom if only I would love for my 365 friends to have this car - can you imagine me going to work tomorrow and ordering three :-D
Hope I didnt mislead - the plate lasts for the life of the car - buyers like to get the new plate as soon as it's out !
@plainjaneandnononsense Now why is that -- wanting the new plate...just curious. And, can one get "custom" plates there like people do here...some of those make me crazy! Things like: HOTMOM or BD2BN -- urgh.
Because the plates date the car it's good for bragging rights and for resale! Yes personalised plates can be bought for a price and you can transfer them ic you change your car for a fee :-)
