Wanted to forage some brambles and make a crumble today so headed to the fields behind my local woods
* The brambles were tiny
* There were hardly any brambles to pick
* Lidl had no cooking apples
* Apparently all 3 of my bags of flour were self raising and not the required plain
Any of these would have been enough to deter me in the past and I'd have given up with a "woe is me". Today I ignored each negative and ended up with scrummy crumble! It's important to acknowledge the little wins in life!
