Top picture taken in October 2018, bottom one snapped this morning.
The entire glass front ended up behind a chest of drawers. Somehow it didn't smash and there was enough poking out for me to grab and rescue! Just need my son to pop round as I can't balance the weight with one hand to safely get the clock down and then I can get busy with my superglue!
