Oh dear. My husband is diabetic, too. He started insulin about 4 months ago. This morning his glucose meter was not working properly. BUT in general his blood sugar is under control. Tough disease.
@eudora@grammyn It’s a like a roulette wheel of treatment. You go up in insulin you get low and you have to eat to bring it back level. You go down in insulin you get too high and try to starve yourself. A constant see saw. But, it’s better than the alternative. 🥀🚑⛪️✝️
@prn You are right! Our daughter used to be a home health nurse, and so many of her patients had uncontrolled diabetes, and the effects of that were scary.
