Get Pushed Challenge 559
My partner challenged me to try the Pep Ventosa in the round technique. The challenge for me was not so much the photos, but the processing. This technique used a lot of memory on my computer and the wheel spun & spun & spun.
it does take a lot of computing power, one way around might be to merge two layers at a time and save in between additions , every approach to the edit gives a different result, i found it a bit hit and miss getting something i liked . the foliage came out nice, did you try to line up the trunk of the tree each time to see if that made it more solid?
@kali66 All good feedback and good questions. I don't have a lot of PS knowledge. Thanks for the suggestions of combining the layers. I need to learn more about layers. I tried to line the tree trunks up, but then the layers would move. I'm not sure what was going on with the computer (and the user 😆). If I do it again, I'll try some of these suggestions. @Dawn Thank you Dawn.
I think it looks great- very dreamy! The technique sounds tricky but this comes close to what I think it's supposed to be. Looking forward to seeing you try it again. You always do really well with these challenges!
@Dawn Thank you Dawn.

@myhrhelper Thank you Kathy. This is the site I used to learn about Pep Ventosa in the round: https://www.leavesnbloom.com/2017/04/pep-ventosa-photography-technique.html
I wished I had seen this one: https://globalphotoclub.com/learn-about-the-pep-ventosa-photography-technique/ It would have helped a bit more with the post -processing.
