Today Callum is 7! I read in the paper yesterday that the Irish Red and White setter is officially the most endangered breed in the UK with only 39 puppies registered with the Kennel Club in 2019. How a breed this beautiful, intelligent and loving can be overlooked is beyond me.
@wyomingsis Thank you, I looked back at some of your recent ones and can see that we are soul mates! I took a photo of just the wavy hair on Callum's back. How many dogs do you have and what are they?
Thanks for looking! I currently have 2, a 2 year old rescue border collie mix and a 12 year old Springer spaniel. My son now has the golden retriever that I had. I grew up with a standard Red Irish Setter though and I will always have a special place in my heart for him and the breed!
