Spent the better part of the day in client meetings (a good thing) and the rest of it on the freeway in bumper to bumper traffic (not so great).Got home late, missed the sunset entirely, so to console myself, I decided to post this sunset from last week. This is how I imagine today's would have looked had I been there.
Every time I see one of your ocean shots, I'm so envious. Not only do you capture them well, but you make the whole area feel so inviting! I'm comparing (can't help it) your series of sunsets over the ocean and mine of fences and snow!!
@taffy It's our good fortune to be able to photograph what's in our own backyards, so to speak. I actually love snow but rarely get near any so now I can enjoy all your winter posts of the ice and cold and fences.
This is just amazingly gorgeous Elizabeth....the sunset, the golden reflections in the ripples in the water, the two birds on the left....just beautiful....FAV! BTW, I know exactly how you felt. Those fireworks from New Year's Eve was exactly how I would have wanted that night to be!
Love the colors, ripples, sharp silhouettes. I think it would have been even better with the top of masts not cut off and the horizon either right in the middle to accentuate the reflections or closer to a third line. It feels somehow off when it's close to the middle but not quite
