For the past couple weeks, I’ve been experimenting with manual focus and am pleased that I’m seeing some improvement in my focus and exposure. I’ve come to think fondly of my tulips this season since I selected and planted each bulb, watered and watched as they shot up through the soil, forming buds, then magnificent blooms. This purple and yellow one has opened fully and even though it’s past its prime, I love the ruffled petals and the intense color.
