Not much surfing going on today with 1-2 foot waves. Certainly not as dramatic as last week when the hurricane offshore sent the water crashing over the top of the pier at one point. The whole town gathered at the beach tonight for the final rock concert of the summer. Babies in strollers, dogs of every description, picnic dinners, beer in paper bags and the sounds of the Beach Boys (sort of) blaring for seven blocks.
