Southern California felt the effects of the tropical storm yesterday and today with torrential rain that broke the all-time July rainfall record for Los Angeles and San Diego. It was short but powerful. Claps of thunder rumbled; didn't see any lightning though. What's ironic is that my whole weekend has been devoted to holding a garage sale of items from my mother's estate. The rain put a huge damper on that. BTW, my mother's middle name is Dolores! Guess she didn't want me to sell the mirror?
This is the shot which caught my eye and sent me backwards through a few days of your project. Lovely curves and colors. I really enjoy your note about your mom's not "wanting" you to sell that mirror. :)
Ha, ha, ha, you poor thing. when Hurricane bob hit Cape cod in 1991 we had just packed up our boat to live on it with our two kids, for a year and head to the Bahamas. My dad Bob, was trying to tell us not to go I think cause our departure got postponed for two weeks!!!
A fantastic shot...Fav
