Another shot from Myanmar. As I approached the entrance to a monastery school, a nun walked out on the balcony and stood, gazing at the busy street below. I was quite taken with the gold filigree and the architectural details of the building with its undulating balconies. Decided to show it in sepia. The underside of the balcony was actually painted bright green.

Gorgeous, Elizabeth! I wonder if, like me, you have moments as you look at something like this and say to yourself, "so not southern California..." I suppose that's why we travel!
Lovely and intricate building.... I am not a big fan of selective coloring, but I had to really look for the nun at the balcony, and I almost feel that it would be more powerful if you could emphasize her pink garments and draw attention to her.
