Even though it looks like these Inle lake fishermen might be practicing water yoga poses, they are actually demonstrating their ability to balance on one leg, row with the other and fish by slappng the net on the water’s surface to trap their catch. This unique method of fishing has been a tradition on this lake for hundreds of years.

This is almost unbelievable how these men do what they are doing -- balancing, not falling into the water (wonder how often one of them does?) and still rowing and bringing in the fish. Incredible photos........ Thanks for your narratives. Awesome.
