On the West Coast there's not a lot of fluctuation in the weather so when a rain storm is predicted, it's news around here. But the forecasters never get it quite right. So today's huge storm lasted all of 45 minutes. We did have wind, thunder, lightning and enough rain to disrupt traffic on the freeways. My tulips got thoroughly drenched and didn't mind it at all!
Boy, you got that right! I woke to the thunder this morning, and if you don't live in SoCal, you ought to know that thunder is a rarity! The first time I heard it, I thought people were dragging out their trash cans! Your beautiful tulips just got the rain they needed for the day!
