This is a tall-stemmed single tulip called Blushing Beauty that managed to hold its head up through the brief but powerful downpour the other morning. Most of the daffodils and early bloomers in the garden are gone but I saw a few new bulbs today so I'm hoping for a couple more weeks of color.
