I'm in Washington for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. This year, Mother Nature laughed at my plans because the tulips are blooming about two weeks later than usual and the fields haven't really popped with color yet. Still, the presentation gardens at Roozengard have massive, colorful beds with about 90 varieties so I got my tulip fix and the chance to try out the new camera. My access to wifi is limited right now so I'll be posting more shots when I'm able.
@kwind I'll bet you'll see a lot more color this coming weekend! It's best to drive around because the tulip fields are spread out. Then you can park and enter the ornamental gardens where you can walk out into the planted fields on designated pathways. I'm going again tomorrow but it's supposed to be quite rainy. Can't wait to see your photos!
