Every time I'm in the San Juan Islands, I take this shot from the exact same vantage point at the corner of the deck. I never tire of this view which changes constantly depending on the time of day, wind, tide and light. Some days there are hawks or eagles gliding on the breeze. This day, the clouds were reflected in the still waters. This region, known as Puget Sound, was formed by glaciers some 15,000 years ago.
