Portree is a charming village on the Isle of Skye where we’ve spent the past few days visiting castles, glens and fairy pools. The song “Over the Sea to Skye” has been popularized in the TV series Outlander, a drama set in 18th century Scotland that we binge-watched the week before coming on this journey. Scotland is incredibly scenic, breathtakingly green and the sun has shown almost every day so far.
