The Festival of Lights known as Chanukah is drawing to a close. Our family gathered recently to light candles and share traditional foods at a festive meal. One candle is used to kindle one flame on the first night. On the second night, an additional flame is lit. By the eighth night of the holiday, all the candles will radiate light.
