This morning I took a walk out to the end of the pier to get in my daily steps and to see how many ships were at anchor off the coast. I counted 36 container ships and 4 cruise ships.I’m in the middle of a remodel and the contractor says the bulk of the building supplies are delayed due to the pandemic. I’m pretty sure my kitchen appliances and cabinet doors are floating out there somewhere.
What an amazing sight and lovely shot. There are still so many products that have been delayed worldwide. Our coast near to the harbour looks the same. I hope you get your appliances and doors soon.
Is this Long Beach pier? Yes...your kitchen items are probably held captive on one of those ships. Why are the cargo ships backed up? Not enough workers? I remember when it was oil tankers.
Sorry to hear the frustration—Some contractors are taking advantage of the situation,they are charging fortune to cut some of my trees due to hurricane season 🥵
