I live in a densely populated urban neighborhood so you can only imagine my surprise and excitement to see a Great White Egret standing on the hood of the BMW parked at the curb. I had no idea where he came from and the bird wasn’t at all bothered by me gawking and snapping photos. He posed briefly, then hopped down to explore the front porch piled with Halloween pumpkins (see yesterday’s post). Tomorrow’s post will show what happened next…
