Located on the city’s left bank is the densely packed neighborhood of Oltrarno reflecting in the River Arno. This area is filled with art galleries, cafes, shops and apartment buildings as well as the Palazzo Pitti and Piazza Michelangelo which offers beautiful views of central Florence at sunset.
