My work friend has a small traction engine and is in the middle of building another one. Today his club had an open day so I along went for a look. This is shortly after he had lit it and was waiting for the pressure to come up, the gauge says it's 18 pounds per square inch.
I love traction engines, even the little ones are great. My brothers each had a little one when we were small. The meths smell was always wonderful...I can smell it now, thanks for the memories :-) And yes, I know the real ones don't run on meths...LOL
